Course Description:

This presentation will explore the links between childhood trauma, including the impact of trauma to the brain and the vulnerability that traumatized youth have to future social, emotional and physical issues. The importance of trauma screening and neurodevelopmental assessment will be addressed, as well as the necessity of identifying childhood trauma in the development of resiliency-based case planning in the child serving systems
