Culturally responsive and Inclusive Learning Environments for Multilingual Learners

  • Live Webinar United States (map)

Course Description

This training will take place on several dates:

11/30/23

12/7/23

While multilingual learners enter our schools and classrooms with specific needs for developing academic English language, they also bring with them a wealth of cultural knowledge and linguistic resources. This workshop will help us engage Culturally Responsive Practices as an instructional strategy, mindset, and practice that cultivate classroom environments and implement teacher practices designed to improve the learning capacity of all students, especially those of historically marginalized student identity groups. Embracing an assets-based perspective when developing the learning environment allows for all students to reach their potential and high academic standards.
