Course Description:

This course will cover the core principles of polyvagal theory, including the definition and discussion of the hierarchy of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and its role in emotional disregulation, neuroception, and co-regulation. Participants will learn how to recognize autonomic states, help their clients respect their adaptive survival responses and learn to regulate or co-regulate into a ventral vagal state.
