Course Description:
This course describes Sexual Harassment including its Forms and Types and what a person should do if they experience or witness unwelcome sexual contact. This course discusses who to report harassment to within your place of employment or outside entity. The instructor further discusses whistle blower protections and resources that are available as well as the four principles of Informed Consent. This course describes how to prevent sexual harassment and violence and how to best terminate the provider/client relationship. This course discusses Moral Engagement, Courage, and Moral Arrogance as well as to how best to maintain and guard your professional boundaries.
This course defines how sexual misconduct and harassment may be viewed as professional misconduct and unethical practice for health professionals.
