Course Description:

This course will provide participants with an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), helping attendees to understand and use the characteristics of ASD to the student’s advantage. The content will focus on a new way of thinking about behaviors associated with ASD, while introducing participants to the interventions and universal supports that increase social and academic engagement and independence for students with ASD.

Participants will access videos and short activities via Google Classroom prior to participating in two live virtual sessions:

Session 1: October 18, 2022 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Session 2: November 1, 2022 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
