Course Description:

The Financial Exploitation Prevention Act (FEPA) went into effect on September 26, 2021, and requires financial institutions to develop policies and procedures for reporting covered financial exploitation of vulnerable adults to adult protective services and law enforcement.  This workshop will describe the responsibilities associated with the FEPA and the related administrative rules as it applies to adult protective services, law enforcement, county prosecutors, and financial institutions.
