Course Description:

The Alzheimer's Association Upper Peninsula Conference will bring healthcare professionals, family caregivers and people living with dementia together for a full day educational opportunity. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Henry Paulson from the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, will discuss the latest information in dementia research, including the new available treatments. Dr. Roman Politi will discuss the process of how to get an early and accurate diagnosis and the support options available to individuals and families upon receiving one. Finally, we will hear from John Covar & Nate Dawson on how to stay safe through common scams, wandering risks and emergency issues.
