Course Description:
The Department of Surgery and the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan Medicine have combined their ethics lectures for 2024. The Berguer Lecture on Ethics and the Raymond W. Waggoner Lecture on Ethics and Values in Medicine will present this year’s topic “Artificial Intelligence, Affective Computing and Health Opportunities and Ethical Considerations”. After this activity, participants will be able to apply a framework to address how to use computing to increase health opportunities for their patients while keeping in mind the ethical considerations of doing so.
