Course Description:

This course is designed to educate professional service providers who provide care to people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or other dementia and/or their family members and care partners. When a family member is diagnosed with a debilitating disease, such as dementia, this often precipitates significant changes within the family structure and family conflict may ensue. Gain greater insight into how families mobilize around chronic illnesses and learn strategies to facilitate familial involvement and family harmony.
