Getting along with other people can be and is often difficult. However, barriers between and among different individuals can be overcome
The scientifically-based six-hour course, “Understanding Relationships,” examines ways to deal effectively with difficult individuals, especially those individuals who work in the health care field. The course provides sound recommendations for dealing, in the professional arena, with difficult people. It examines how to handle situations when the boss is the problem. It covers problems relating to bullying and the politics of the workplace. It reviews personality disorders that could affect difficult personalities. The course examines relationships that affect family and friends. It covers such matters as divorce, “tough-love,” and ways to handle in-laws. It covers the cutting off of relationships and making friends later in life. Many challenging relationships emanate from dating and marriage. The course examines why some relationships succeed while others fail. It reviews violations of trust and matters of infidelity. It reviews why some people keep having the same
arguments.
