The majority of chronic pain patients are in or beyond the fifth decade of life. Chronic pain patients will generally have co-morbidity and poly-pharmacy issues that accompany their chronic pain. Health care providers must correctly evaluate a patient's need for opioid analgesic medications against the co-morbidity and poly-pharmacy risks. This new webinar will discuss OPIOID SAFE PRACTICES and use of opioid medications for all age groups and address the following concerns: **Prescribing opioids carry different risks and dangers for different Age groups. Younger patients are more prone to addiction. **Middle-aged patients are more likely to mix multiple different Medications without clear medical guidance. **Older patients will frequently have poly-pharmacy concerns, potentially use medical marijuana or CBD, and have numerous co-morbidities long before opioids are even considered.
