Course Description:

Participants will explore why transracial placements are sometimes necessary and things adoptive families or foster families should be aware of in respect to race and culture. Participants will be given tips and strategies to better support families navigating a transracial placement. Participants will also be connected with resources to support their learning and the learning of their clients.
