Course Description:

This course seeks to educate and inform participants in how disrupted placements, including removal from the birth family, impact children and young people. The course will give practioners practical strategies based on evidence-based practice and top tips to help minimize disruption and distress for children involved in the child welfare system. Special consideration will be given to how to form and maintain a positive working relationships with birth parents.

Beginning and Introductory skill levels.
