Course Description:
Avoiding Adversarial Relationships with Youth and Emerging Adults is designed to support The Fourth Turning of Strauss-Howe Generational Theory. Presenter Christopher C. Harris calls this paradigm-shift The Millennial Transition. In this training, attendees will learn about the micro, mezzo, and macro origins, as well as how the impact of this global transition is changing the way that humans interact with each other and the institutions that have governed human life in our time. The training also supports attendees ability to balance their independent and interdependent agencies while effectively integrating their private and personal experiences being impacted by the fourth turning, while remaining accountable for their role-related behaviors as a social work practitioner.
