Course Description:

 Pressure ulcers are one of the most common complications after a spinal cord injury (SCI). This presentation will identify the occurrence of pressure ulcers and how they have increased since the pandemic. It will discuss the cause and prevention of medical device related pressure ulcers as well as explain the benefit of an interdepartmental approach to wound care in acute rehabilitation.
