Course Description:

This workshop will examine Stages of Change Theory.  Participants will be introduced to this model of treatment being used with adults with psychiatric disorders.  The connection to Motivational Interviewing will be highlighted as each stage is reviewed and discussed.  This is a beginning level workshop designed to introduce Motivational Interviewing and Stages of Change as clinical interventions. .
