Course Description:
This day-long training will be an overview of several different aspects of human trafficking and will give practical applications of how to prevent trafficking in one's everyday life. It will explain what trafficking is and how it happens, display how prevalent it is in our communities and state, teach indicators of a trafficking victim, give real-life testimony of a woman who survived being trafficked, encourage individuals to understand how they can prevent trafficking in their everyday lives, and motivate them to take steps to be aware of trafficking and potential victims.
