Course Description:

Working with teens with poor sexual boundaries can be quite a demanding task. When we consider the unique challenges of doing therapeutic work in residential treatment, foster care, education or other settings, it can seem overwhelming. This session will discuss many aspects of working with young people who have very poor sexual boundaries, including sexually offensive behaviors. We will cover a wide range of perspectives to better understand the reasons why and the different ways that teens try to act out sexually, and proven techniques and interventions to effectively respond to these behaviors.
