Course Description:

This course introduces the evidence-based practice of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) to provide interdisciplinary treatment for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The course is meant to be accessible for providers or partners at any level of experience who are working on or with an IDDT team.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

1. Explain the history of public mental health and substance use disorder care in the US over the last several years, specifically how Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) was developed and studied initially

2. Identify the methods used to develop and test evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders

3. List the specific outcomes IDDT is correlated with for a specific co-occurring population, as well as outcomes associated with IDDT alterations

4. Identify the components of fidelity measurement of IDDT
