This workshop will discuss the developmental stages, starting from early childhood to late adolescence, focusing on the cognitive and socioemotional aspects. An emphasis will be placed on discussing the traumatic impacts of adverse childhood experiences and the approaches necessary to overcome them. Upon completion of this course, providers will acquire a better understanding of the importance of building resilience in children and adolescents and will learn the proper use of therapeutic tools and interventions.
