Course Description:
The 120-minute training includes a brief history of the LGBT population, critical terms and definitions, overview of statistics and demographics in Michigan. The maximun presentation of 2 hours includes everything from the 120-minute presentation, plus more in-depth discussion, understanding of our own biases, activities and group discussions including case studies and review, etc. Additonally, there is also a 1.5 (90 min) training option that is condensed and serves as an introductory level presentation that focuses only on the brief history of the LGBT population, critical terms and definitions, overview of statistics and demographics in Michigan.
