Course Description:
Like most post-transplant patients, those receiving a cardiac transplant usually require intensive rehabilitation prior to discharge home. This presentation will provide the clinician with an understanding of the pathophysiology, evidence for, and types of therapy needed to provide the best care for this patient population. Evidence to support post-cardiac transplant rehabilitation will also be discussed.
